Guilt and Love

Yile (Carrie) Chen

My heart has a natural tendency towards loving kindness.

When this natural flow of love towards someone is stopped, I feel guilt.

Guilt, for being unable to love another, is my heart's sadness over the broken connection within myself to express love.

Based on a meditation by Dom Sebastian Moore OSB

  1. That feeling must be universal, Tina! I certainly resonate with it! I want to have the heart of Jesus and my heart so often is a heart of stone instead of a heart of flesh!

  2. Guilt is one of the feelings, and blame is another.
